The times are calculated for the place's coordinates and elevation (GeoNames) with Skyfield and the JPL ephemeris DE421 – the same program that makes the paid guide. The calculation is checked against NASA eclipse data (Fred Espenak, NASA GSFC). The times assume a clear sky; nobody can forecast the weather this far ahead.
